Super Bowl DUI Crackdown in Western Springs Begins Friday
The crackdown on impaired and unbuckled motorists will run through Feb. 2.
The Western Springs Police Department is partnering with the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois State Police this weekend in a statewide Super Bowl "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" enforcement campaign.
The crackdown will run from Jan. 31 through Feb. 2.
"Police officers will be increasing their visible traffic enforcement primarily focusing on impaired driving and unbuckled motorists throughout Western Springs," a release from the Western Springs Police Department reads.
