MONDAY, SEPT. 3

Car Scratched

Police believe unknown persons intentionally scratched a vehicle park in a resident's driveway on the 4500 block of Lawn Avenue. Police believe the incident occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.

Cars Spray Painted

Police reported that someone broke into a resident's garage on the 4500 block of Wolf Road and defaced two cars that were parked in the garage with white spray paint. Police believe the cars were painted sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Unattended Bike Stolen

An unattended bike was stolen at Ridge Acres Park on the 4600 block of Harvey Avenue. The bike was described by police as abandoned in some bushes at the park and was taken sometime between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Police estimated the bike's value at $150.

THURSDAY, AUG. 30

No Valid License

Anna M. Kowal, 49, of the 700 block of Dempster St. in Mt. Prospect, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license and disobeying a stop sign on the 4900 block of Fair Elms Avenue at about 8 a.m.

MONDAY, AUG. 27

Suspended License, Registration and No Insurance

Edgar A. Cornejo, 21, of the 800 block of south Vine Street in Hinsdale, was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving while his registration was suspended and not having insurance at Ogden and Howard avenues at 9:16 p.m.
