Failure to yield

Kevin P. Curtin, 37, of the 13000 block of Westwood in Holland, MI, was arrested around 9:04 p.m. near the intersection of 47th Street and Wolf Road, police said. Curtin made a left turn from 47th Street onto Wolf Road in front of another car, police said. Curtin was charged with failure to yield.

Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident

Cynthia L. Vaile, 54, of the 4300 block of Deyo Avenue in Brookfield, was arrested around 4:04 p.m. near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Wolf Road, police said. Vaile rear-ended a car that stopped in front of her in the median lane, police said. She was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Failure to yield

Deborah L. Szlak, 56, of the 400 block of Burlington Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 6:37 a.m. near the intersection of 55th Street and Wolf Road, police said. Szlak turned left onto Wolf Road from 55th Street in front of a car that was traveling westbound on 55th, police said. The other car struck Szlak’s vehicle, police said. Szlak was charged with failure to yield and driving without insurance.
