SUNDAY, NOV. 25

Ogden DUI Charge

Maria Del-Rosario Martinez, 31, of the 9100 block of Lincoln Court, Orland Park, was stopped at the corner of Ogden and Lawn avenues at 3:57 a.m. for making an improper U-turn, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after failing field sobriety tests, police said.

Car Burgled in Driveway

Someone entered an unlocked car in a driveway on the 5400 block of Howard Avenue and stole a wallet containing a debit card and $50 in cash sometime between 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, police said.

Home Window Damaged

Someone used an undetermined projectile to damage a window on the 5600 block of Woodland Drive sometime between Wednesday and Thursday. Police did not believe there was an attempt to enter the residence. The cost of the damage was not estimated.

TUESDAY, NOV. 20

Found Your Purse—And Your Bong

A 19-year-old La Grange woman was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:27 p.m. after coming to the Western Springs Police Department to claim a found purse that contained a glass smoking pipe used for drugs, police said.

Woman Turns Self In

Irena Taylor, 56, of the 2500 block of W. 46th Street, Chicago, was arrested at the Western Springs Police Department at 12:45 p.m. after police said she voluntarily turned herself in on an unspecified outstanding arrest warrant from the Chicago Police Department.

MONDAY, NOV. 19

Illegal Driver

Richard L. Cummings, 35, of the 2400 block of Red Bud Court, Aurora, was stopped at the corner of 55th Street and Woodland Avenue at 11:53 a.m. for displaying an expired registration, police said. He was charged with driving with a suspended license.
