Wolf Road and Grand Avenue Railroad Crossing Closed Overnight Friday

BNSF will be performing tie replacement work at the Wolf Road and Grand Avenue railroad crossings on Friday, May 16, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. The main impact for the area will be noise and lighting. 

Although there will be some noise disturbance made by the track equipment, the loudest noise will be the locomotive whistles. The workers will be using directional lighting and this may cause a light disturbance for residents that live near the tracks. 

A secondary impact will be the closing of the crossings during the hours of work. Lawn Avenue is not affected by the work.
