WSFD Responds to Dryer Fire at Adventist La Grange
La Grange and La Grange Park firefighters, ambulance crews also answer smoke, fire and medical calls.
Firefighters from Western Springs La Grange, La Grange Park and five other departments responded to a dryer fire in the laundry room of the environmental services building at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, 5101 S. Willow Springs Road, at about 12:40 a.m. Feb. 27.
The dryer burned up causing, “a lot of smoke,” said La Grange Fire Chief William J. Bryzgalski. The Brookfield, Lyons, McCook and Willow Springs fire departments and Pleasantview Fire Protection District also responded.
