Sunday, May 20, 4:39 a.m.; Attempted Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property: An unknown offender unsuccessfully attempted to enter a home on the 4000 block of Western Avenue through a basement window, then fled the scene before police arrived. ()

Sunday, May 20, 7:58 p.m.; Burglary to Garage, Theft: Someone stole a woman's bicycle from an unlocked garage on the 4300 block of Grand Avenue sometime between 9:00 a.m. on Friday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The value of the bike was not estimated.

Tuesday, May 15, 1:24 p.m.; Arrest Warrants, Driving While License Suspended: Mario Cosme, 25, of 302 Wentworth Ave., Sandwich, was stopped on the 3800 block of Lawn Avenue for failure to secure a child in a safety seat and was found to have three (3) outstanding arrest warrants for various offenses from the Aurora Police Department, DeKalb County and Kendall County; he was also charged with driving with a suspended license.

Thursday, May 17, 11:13 p.m.; DUI Alcohol, Improper Lane Usage, Speeding: Carl L. Roconi, 53, of 9027 22nd Pl., North Riverside, was stopped at the corner of Clausen Avenue and Ogden Avenue for speeding and improper lane usage and charged with DUI after failing sobriety tests administered when the arresting officer noticed the defendant's glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol from the car.

Saturday, May 19, 11:50 p.m.; Minors in Possession of Alcohol: A Western Springs 18-year-old and a La Grange 17-year-old were issued local ordinance citations for underage possession of alcohol after being found in Spring Rock Park after closing hours with alcoholic beverages.
