Congressman Lipinski To Host Town Hall Meeting in Oak Lawn

Illinois Third District residents invited to attend town hall meeting at Oak Lawn Community High School on July 31.


If your basement turns into a toilet every time that it rains, or you have other concerns about what is happening in Washington, D.C., Congressman Dan Lipinski will be hosting a town hall meeting for Illinois Third District residents in Oak Lawn this coming week.

The town hall meeting kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, at Oak Lawn Community High School, located at 9400 Southwest Highway, in Oak Lawn.

Third District residents will be able to hear from Congressman Lipinski about his work on their behalf at home and in Washington, as well as ask questions and voice their opinions on federal issues. Staff from the congressman’s office will be available beginning 5:30 p.m. prior to the start of the meeting to provide assistance with Medicare, Social Security, veterans’ benefits, and other federal matters.

"I want to personally extend an invitation to the residents of the Third Congressional District to my upcoming Town Hall Meeting,” Lipinski said.  “As your representative in Washington and someone who strives to improve the quality of life in the communities I serve, it is critical that I hear from you. In addition, [this event] is a great opportunity for you to get assistance with federal issues and learn about the wide array of constituent services my office provides … It is my privilege to serve you.”
