Friendly Reminder: Village Street Sweeping Begins Monday, May 5
Street sweeping is expected to take three days. Residents asked to refrain from parking on the streets whenever possible starting Monday, May 5.
It's the first Monday of the month on May 5, which means it's time for Western Springs' monthly cleaning.
The village asks that residents refrain from parking on the streets wherever possible while the sweeping is occurring to allow for the street sweeping crews to fully clean the streets.
Village wide street sweeping will begin Monday and take approximately three days to complete the entire Village. The Village is utilizing K. Hoving as a private contractor for street cleaning for 2014.

Street sweeping through the rest of the summer will be monthly, commencing on the first Monday of every month. If the first Monday falls on a national holiday, the street sweeping will occur on that Tuesday.
