Come to the Spaghetti Dinner and Meatball Meet-Up!
Craving carbs? Looking for a fun night out? Want to help a good cause? Come to the Spaghetti Dinner at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs on March 16!
On Saturday, March 16, 2013, the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs will host its 47th Spaghetti Dinner. Can you even imagine how much spaghetti our dedicated chefs have cooked in those 47 years? It’s amazing and we’d love for you to come enjoy a delicious dinner and be a part of this long-time PCWS tradition.
Here are the details:
The Spaghetti Dinner has seatings at 5pm, 6pm or 7pm on Saturday, March 16. The meal includes pasta with scrumptious sauce, garlic bread, salad and homemade cake for dessert. Gluten free spaghetti is available. Your meal is lovingly prepared by our talented chefs and served by friendly and helpful youth.

You can buy tickets at the door or reserve them in advance by calling the church office at 708-246-5220. If you buy your tickets in advance, the cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children (ages 4-12). If you buy them at the door, adults are $7 and children (ages 4-12) are $4. Kids 3 and under are free.
All proceeds from the Spaghetti Dinner will go toward a Senior Youth Mission Trip to Appalachia this summer where PCWS High School students will help repair and restore homes for people in need. It’s a great cause and a wonderful group of teens working together on this project. Thank you for supporting their fundraising efforts!

But wait, there’s more! Do you have little kids? Are you looking for a playtime for your little ones (think kindergarten age and below) and some fun time to socialize with other parents? Then come to the Meatball Meet-Up right before the Spaghetti Dinner!
The Meatball Meet-Up will be at 4:30pm on Saturday, March 16. It’s a free event open to families with young children (baby to kindergarten). We’ll have games and activities geared to the kindergarten and under set and give them a chance to shake out their winter wiggles. While your kids play, you can meet other parents and socialize with friends and neighbors. Come for the Meatball Meet-Up at 4:30 and stay for the Spaghetti Dinner at 5pm! Playtime for the kids, fun time for the parents, a delicious dinner and no dishes to clean up! Sounds like a great Saturday night!
How do I sign up?
If you’d like to come to the Meatball Meet-Up, please rsvp to Linda Murray at layministries@presbyws.org. The Meatball Meet-Up is free and we’d love for anyone with young kids to join us…but please let us know if you are coming so that we have enough games and supplies ready for you!
