Friends and Fun to Kick Off a New Sunday School Year
The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs kicked off a new Sunday School year with outdoor worship, fun games and activities and a delicious barbeque. Check out the photo gallery!
Last Sunday was a gorgeous day of sunny skies and refreshing breezes. The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs was delighted to have such a beautiful day to celebrate Rally Day, the kick-off to the new Sunday School year. We held our worship service outside and then launched into Rally Day festivities. Kids munched on popcorn while getting their faces painted. Our flower committee was on hand to teach how to design beautiful floral arrangements. There was plenty of time to jump in the bouncy house, throw some bean bags with friends or join the epic all-ages water balloon toss. After enjoying all sorts of games and activities, we appreciated a “Taste of Wisconsin” barbeque. Delicious food and desserts, coupled with time spent with friends, made for a great morning.
