Sign Up for Music and Drama Camp Now!

The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs (PCWS) is offering a Music and Drama Camp this summer and registration is now open!  Our production will be "Wise Guys: A Musical Play Based on the Book of Proverbs," by Joe Cox and Jody Lindh. 

We’ve been running MAD Camp (as we affectionately call the camp) for several years and it’s a really fun part of the summer for many kids.  Our musicals have featured great song-and-dance numbers, fun costumes and creative sets.  Participants work together---learning lines, practicing songs and dance moves and creating the backdrop for the play.  It’s fun to see what the children and the talented MAD Camp team can do in just one week’s time.

MAD Camp meets at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs June 10-14 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. to rehearse and work on costumes and sets. We will perform "Wise Guys" in worship at 9:30am on Sunday, June 16.  The Prebyterian Church of Western Springs is located at 5250 Wolf Road in Western Springs.

The main MAD Camp is open to all children who have completed grades 1-8. For boys and girls entering kindergarten and first grade, we are excited that "Wise Guys" includes a special song just for them! "The Ants" will only rehearse from 4:30-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
