The Urban Mutt in LaGrange has the healthiest brand dog food around and it's reasonably priced. They are always very attentive and knowledgeable on their products. My two dogs have thei r pictures posted on the wall and love receiving free treats and rubs behind the ears! I recently moved out to Plainfield and still only shop at the Urban Mutt.

The Urban Mutt allows you to bring your pet inside and there are incredibly sweet people that work there!! They would always give my dog a little treat if I said it was ok!! Their selection is awesome and their prices are very reasonable!! I love them!! Their treats are very cute as well as nutritious! I bought my puppy a bag full of goodies for her 1 st Birthday!!

For WS: Pet Necessities just off of Hillgrove on Johnson. I always talk about supporting the little guy(small business) and this is one! They can order anything you need. Stop in once in a blue and throw THEM a bone! (get it?...).

While just 15 minutes down the road in Downers Grove, the Doggie Depot is a great place to find healthy food and other items for your dog. The owners, Colleen Begg McLachlan (born/raised in LaGrange/Western Springs) and Brian wanted to open their business in LaGrange/WS but there were no facilities large enough. They also have daycare and boarding for dogs. Check out their website-- doggiedepot.com. You will be glad you did.

The Urban Mutt in La Grange is by far the best doggie retail shop around the area. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is very helpful and they are very knowledgeable. All dogs and cats are welcomed in the store and they even take pictures of all the pets that come into the store and they post their photo on the wall for everyone to see. Their bakery area is so cute and they offer many gourmet treats that are wheat free and even wheat, corn and soy free. They also bake doggie cakes and I can't wait to order one for my pup when he turns 1 in October. Visit The Urban Mutt and you will not be disappointed.
