Everybody loves a good scavenger hunt—especially one that supports the students who benefit from Robert Crown Center educational programs. Robert Crown Center for Health Education will hold its annual Hunt for Health scavenger hunt Saturday, April 26.

The Hunt for Health, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m., begins and ends at Immanuel Hall, 302 S. Grant St. in Hinsdale. Teams of eight to 10 adults ages 21 or older will go on a whirlwind search for clues that have been strategically placed in landmarks and businesses throughout downtown Hinsdale. Participants are not only searching for clues, they're learning more about their community and the important role Robert Crown Center plays as a local source of health and primary prevention information for kids and their parents.

Check-in is at 6:30 p.m., the hunt begins at 7 p.m., and the post party, with beverages, hors d'oeuvres, raffles and prizes, goes from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

This is an event that has been embraced by the local community; hundreds of attendees turn out each year. For ticket prices and to sign up, just click here. And remember: No high heels or dress clothes. You'll want to be comfortable for this event.

Robert Crown Center for Health Education is the largest independent provider of health education for school-aged children in the Chicago area. More than 5 million students have learned from RCC's science-based programs on healthy eating, physical and emotional development, and tobacco, alcohol and substance abuse prevention.
