Loyola Hosts Women's Day in Burr Ridge

The Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge invites women to take some time for themselves at a free health and wellness day on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Women’s Day will include health lectures on disease prevention, aging, skin care, coping with stress and heart health. Attendees who pre-register will have the opportunity to undergo osteoporosis and cholesterol screenings.

The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. – noon at the Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge, 6800 N. Frontage Road. Speakers include:

8 – 8:30 a.m. – Loyola internal medicine specialists/pediatricians Tony Pangan, MD, and Heidi Renner, MD, will present “Disease of the Decade.”

8:45 – 9:15 a.m. – Loyola Dermatology physician assistant Diana Monaghan, PA-C, will present “What Every Woman Needs to Know About Skin Cancer.”

9:30 – 10 a.m. – Loyola psychiatrist Susan Walsh, PsyD, will present “Coping with Stressors.”

10:15 – 10:45 a.m. – Loyola family medicine specialist Cheyanne Casas, MD, will present "Life-changing True Story" about her personal weight-loss experience.

Osteoporosis and cholesterol screenings will be offered from 11 a.m. – noon. Pre-registration is required for these tests. Please call (708) 327-1201 to make an appointment.
