LT Seeking Volunteers for Community Advisory Council

The Council meets five times during the school year. The meeting agendas are designed cooperatively by the Council and the administration.

From Lyons Township High School (posted by Charlotte Eriksen):

The LT Community Advisory Council is seeking persons interested in serving a 2-year term. Interested volunteers can contact the superintendent's office at 708-579-6451 for an application or download one here: LTCAC application form

The LTCAC has 60-70 members, including staff, students, parents, and community members, who represent the entire Lyons Township High School community.

The Council meets five times during the school year. The meeting agendas are designed cooperatively by the Council and the administration. Information is presented by staff directly involved with programs and issues pertaining to agenda items, and members have a chance to ask questions and respond. In addition, there is time at every meeting to address other issues of concern to LTCAC members.

In addition, the Parent Teacher Council (PTC) has several events in need of volunteers. Dates and times are flexible and we'll guarantee the experience will be rewarding. High School is a memorable four years. Please make it even more memorable for you and your children by participating.
