WS Lacrosse Fall Boys House 2012

Sept 9th – Oct 21st Sundays  Fee:$115.00

Beginners and experienced from 1st – 8th grade. Lacrosse focus will be on learning lacrosse skills in offense, defense and game strategies. Emphasis in scrimmages will be
on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Every effort will be made to attend these tournaments, but as with any tournament they are subject to cancellation by the vendor at any time. If that happens we will attempt to find an alternate tournament or use cancelled tournament date as a practice.

Fees include coaches, fields, practices, uniforms, balls,
referees, administrative costs. Tournament costs are extra.

Practices included for Fall are on Sundays, Sept. 9th, Sept 16th, Sept 23rd, Sept 30th, Oct 21st from 4:30 - 6:00pm at LTHS South Campus, Corral fields

Practices included for Winter Session are on Saturdays, Nov 3rd, Nov 10th, Nov 17th, Dec 1st, Dec 8th, Dec 15th at Darien Sportsplex

All boys lacrosse programs require the following
equipment: Lacrosse stick, mouth-piece, lacrosse helmet with face guard;shoulder pads, elbow pads, lacrosse gloves, cup, and soccer/football cleats.

Fall Girls Lacrosse League

The emphasis of this program is to develop the girl within the sport of lacrosse. The goals of the program are to understand the rules of lacrosse, active teamwork, sportsmanship, and foster personal development in a respectful environment led by positive coaching. All players
will receive equal playing time.

These levels are for players with any amount of
experience and include 1 practice per week. Ninth graders are allowed to play in the Fall league.

Registration is a two step process:

1. Western Springs Recreation Department see
attached registration form

2. Fill out the Player Information Form on iglax.org (under the
Registration tab).

We need parent volunteers (coaches and team support) click on our volunteer tab at iglax.org -NO LACROSSE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Training classes available.

*Each player must have their own stick, goggles and a mouth guard for all practices and games.
