Lyons Township South High School is hosting the 6th Annual Western Springs Lacrosse Tower Tournament on Saturday, June 2nd starting at 8am to dusk. This year we
have kids in 4th thru 8th grade competing in 5 categories with over 40 teams attending from surrounding north, south and western suburbs along with a couple teams from Indiana & Wisconsin.

Western Springs Lacrosse has 6 teams in the tournament. Kids are from Western Springs, Hinsdale, Lagrange, Lagrange Park, Clarendon Hills, Burr Ridge, Lockport, Willowbrook, Indian Head Park, Oak Park, Westchester, River Forest, Westmont, Woodridge, Downers Grove, Forest Park and Riverside.

Jose Padilla brought the game of Lacrosse to Western Springs in 1999. Each year we announce the winner of the Jose Padilla Award. This award is given to an 8th grader who most exemplifies the highest level of team playing qualities including leadership, sportsmanship, personal development and mastery of the game.
