Four LT Student Athletes Sign With Division I Colleges

Two football players, a lacrosse player and a gymnast have signed letters of intent to play for Division I colleges next year.

Four Lyons Township High School seniors, student athletes all, declared and signed letters of intent on Wednesday to play for Division I colleges next year

Will Konstant and Adam Rodgers, both from La Grange, have signed to play football at Dartmouth College and Butler University, respectively. Konstant has been a star safety for the Lions (9-6 in 2011), while the 250-lb Rodgers has been a key pass rusher at defensive tackle (and also a solid heavyweight wrestler in the off-season.)

“Konstant and Rodgers are leaders on and off the field and set excellent examples of what it means to be an LT football player," said LT football coach Kurt Weinberg in a press release. "They have left very big shoes to fill.”
