La Grange Twins Lead LTHS Bowling Squad

The Kicmal twins are double trouble, leading the surging fledgling Lions squad as the team heads into the postseason.

The number one and two players for the Lyons Township High School varsity bowling team differ by seven points in game average, just a few minutes in age and none at all in parentage, The Doings Western Springs reports.

According to the paper, twin brothers Mike Kicmal and Robert Kicmal, Jr., LTHS juniors from La Grange, are the scoring leaders for the 14-3 Lions team as they head into the postseason; the team next plays Saturday in sectionals at Palos Lanes in Palos Hills.

“We’re pretty competitive, but most of the time we have fun,” Mike told the paper. "I’m No. 1, but he is closing the gap.”
