Sharon Brannigan, a Palos Township trustee and Republican running for U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski's 3rd Congressional District seat in 2014, is hosting a meet and greet Sunday at TR'S Pub & Banquet Rooms, 3908 W. 111th St. in Chicago, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., according to this event listing posted by Brannigan on Patch.
"Get to know the candidate and learn her positions on 'fighting taxes' and how 'together' we can better our Country, the State of Illinois and District 3," the event listing reads.
Free drinks and appetizers will be provided.
The 3rd Congressional District includes Western Springs and has been represented by Lipinski, a Western Springs Democrat, since 2005.
