Phenomenal service and amazing food! Due to my group of indecisive friends, I did not know my new years eve plans until the very day arrived. I frantically called Scavuzzo's on new years eve asking them to make food for our party. They were so friendly and not only agreed to make the food (last minute and on a holiday) but also assured me that food would be ready in time for the party. I brought Pizzas and Subs from Scavuzzo's to the party and I have never heard so many people rave about food in my life! I could not believe how satisfying the everything was. Ultimately my friends and I decided it was the sauces that made the food so delicious. Their Pizza sauce and the vinaigrette they put on the subs are homemade Sicilian recipes, that separate their items from every other pizza and sub. I was truly grateful that they agreed to cater on such short notice but I was even more taken back by the taste of the food. Absolutely amazing!

Family-owned, family-operated and just opened, Scavuzzo's is a small, homey Italian eatery and pizza place in the heart of downtown Western Springs. All recipes are Scavuzzo-family originals, served for take-out or sit-down in a fun, family atmosphere with eight tables and a plasma TV. Great restaurant! Good food, good atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and hardworking, love the gelato and lemon cookies for an end of meal treat! The specials of the week are always tasty and add something different from the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quick family meal or a carry out when you just want to have a night at home with no cooking!
Each and every time I come into Scavuzzo's Cafe Italia it is just as good as the first time. I have never been served a bad meal and all of my guests have nothing but good things to say after their experience. This restaurant has some of THE best family recipes I've ever had! I would like to see them have more events like the one they held for their grand opening. It was so much fun to hangout on the sidewalk, listen to a live band, and catch up with friends from the neighborhood. This cafe and all of its employees are truly a gift to Western Springs. I will keep visiting Scavuzzo's Cafe Italia and I hope they are here to stay!
This place is so refreshing! You walk in and you are greeted by smiling faces, the smell of fresh ingredients, and a family atmosphere. I have been comming in since the begining and the food just keeps getting better and better. Now on to the pizza the main reason stop in, its square which I love, every topping tastes amazing and dare I say it tastes (healthy) the margherita is my familys favorite. I give it 5 epic stars for food quality, family service, and never having a poorly made meal to date.

This place (with some other WS businesses) needs more hours. Opening at noon?? People like to eat before that! Went there a few times in Dec and January, only to have it closed for some reason or other.Young lady did open the door and say...we are opening late today. oboy
