Our first 25 clearly were nowhere near enough. Here are 25 more equally excellent businesses in La Grange, Western Springs and La Grange Park you should consider "liking" on Facebook!
One list of 25 excellent Lyons Township-area Facebook pages clearly just wasn't enough! After our first installment, our terrific Patch readers gave us a bunch of suggestions for more of their favorite La Grange, Western Springs and La Grange Park business Facebook pages. 450 Facebook Likes = Pelt Me With Water Balloons
If we can get the Western Springs Facebook page to 450 likes by the end of September, I will not only let the Village public drench me with water balloons, I'll film it and put it up here!
As of writing, the Western Springs Patch Facebook page has 318 likes. While this means 318 totally awesome people like us, and that's terrific, we're still trailing well behind, say, Oak Lawn Patch's Facebook, which boasts a whopping 1,579. So let's do something to even the score a little bit, shall we? If we can get another 132 Facebook likes over the next two months—get to 450 before the end of September—I will, and I swear by this, fill a couple hundred water balloons, go to an appropriate place in Western Springs that I will announce here in advance, and film myself being pelted with them by random Village passerby (and you!), then I will post the video here for the entertainment of all. Lyons Township High School senior Katie Miller heads up social networking for integrative health care company InNetwork, based in St. Charles.
Before Katie Miller came along to take over handling the social various media accounts for InNetwork—a St. Charles-based company that matches consumers with alternative healthcare providers—InNetwork co-founder Laurie Walsh was feeling a bit in over her head. "It's so time consuming," Walsh said of managing social networking for the company. So, Walsh decided to hire a teen to manage her company's social media sites, and since then, she said she's had more time for her other work and the site has seen its online network grow exponentially.
