A Brookfield woman who police said fled the scene of an accident Feb. 4 must answer to DUI charges after Western Springs officers caught up with her a mile-and-a-half from the crash. Stephanie S. Gose, 40, of the 3600 block of Grand Boulevard, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 5:35 p.m. after her car struck another vehicle waiting at the traffic light at the corner of 47th Street and Gilbert Avenue, police said. Gose's car rear-ended the other car, which was stopped at the traffic light facing eastbound on 47th Street, according to the report. SUNDAY, NOV. 18 Someone stole several holiday light decorations from the front yard of a home on the 4000 block of Rose Avenue sometime between 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
