Western Springs Debuts New Village Web Site
The village says the new website will offer a number of improved services to Western Springs residents.
The Village of Western Springs debuted its spiffy new official village website—wsprings.com—on January 1. The redesigned site offers a cleaner look with a stylish new logo and a sky-blue and tree-green backdrop image of a village street. Prominent links on the main page offer a community forum, a way to report problems, and signups for notifications and CodeRED. According to an article in Tower Topics, "the goal of the web site redevelopment project was to improve the graphics, navigation, functionality and communication of the previous web site. What is that wierd white "swoosh" supposed to represent? It looks very odd. First off all, the Tower is hovering above the disconnected street scene below it, then that swoosh appears out of nowhere like Tinkerbell's trail.
