Western Springs Death Notices: Elizabeth Witek, 92

Elizabeth Witek
, 92, was the wife of the late William A. Witek. She was the mother of six children, grandmother of 18 grandchildren, and great-grandmother of 14 great-grandchildren. Ms. Witek's visitation was Monday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home in Countryside and her funeral was Tuesday at St. John of the Cross Church in Western Springs. Her obituary was published Oct. 20 in the Chicago Tribune.

June M. Huebner died Oct. 4 at King Bruwaert House in Burr Ridge after living the last six years with dementia. Ms. Huebner moved to Oak Park with her parents and graduated with honors from Oak Park-River Forest High School in 1938, and with honors from the University of Wisconsin in 1942. A realtor, Ms. Huebner was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority, La Grange Country Club and Grace Lutheran Church in Western Springs. Preceded in death by her brother, Robert F. Schaub, and her daughter, Dianne H. Clatur, Ms. Huebner is survived by her husband, Frederick B. Huebner, her son, John F. Huebner, her two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews. Ms. Huebner's family asked that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago. Ms. Huebner's obituary was published Oct. 10 in the Chicago Tribune.
