2 Kids, 2 Adults Hospitalized After Ogden Avenue Crash

Western Springs crash reports, Dec. 23-29.

SATURDAY, DEC. 28

4 Hospitalized After 3-Car Crash

Kathleen E. Bezek, 68, of the 800 block of Brighton Lane, La Grange, and Sharon C. Hathaway, 66, of the N21W26700 block of Catttail Court, Pewaukee, WI, were each cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said, after a three-car accident on Ogden Avenue near Woodland Avenue at 2:02 p.m.

Hathaway's 2012 Chevrolet Equinox rear-ended a 2005 Land Rover that had stopped to let a pedestrian cross, and Bezek's 2008 Chevy Equinox rear-ended Hathaway's vehicle, which caused it to hit the Land Rover again.

Bezek and her three passengers—a 42-year-old, a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old—were transported to La Grange Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All three vehicles were damaged.
