Man With Suspended License Cited After Western Springs Accident

MONDAY, NOV. 11

Rear-End Accident


A 16-year-old male juvenile from La Grange Park was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said, after rear-ending with a 2011 Toyota Corolla a 2006 Ford Five Hundred that had stopped at a stop sign on southbound Gilbert Avenue at Hillgrove Avenue at 8:18 a.m.

The juvenile had three kids in the car, ages 11, 8 and 6. Nobody in either car was injured. Both cars were damaged.

SUNDAY, NOV. 10

Man With Suspended License Causes Crash


Jonathan E. Dabisch, 22, of the 5800 block of Walnut Avenue, Downers Grove, was cited with driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said after rear-ending with his 1992 Buick LeSabre a 1999 Ford Explorer that had stopped in the left lane of westbound 55th Street for the traffic light at at Wolf Road. 

No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were damaged.

TUESDAY, NOV. 5

Rear-End Accident


Veronica M. Zaremba, 18, of the 2000 block of West 56th Street, La Grange, was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance after she rear-ended with her 2006 Kia a 2003 Chevy Malibu that had come to stop while traveling northbound in the 5100 block of Wolf Road at 8:26 a.m., police said. 

No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were damaged.
