Vacant Western Springs Home Vandalized With Rock

Rock Smashes Window


An unknown person threw a rock through the window of a vacant house in the 4600 block of Central Avenue, police said, causing more than $300 in damage. The incident was reported at 12:21 p.m., but the date and time of the offense is not known.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 21

Lights Damaged


Two decorative lights were damaged after they were removed by an unknown person from the ground outside a house in the 300 block of Burlington Avenue, police said, some time between 10 p.m. Sept. 20 and 11 a.m. Sept. 21.

The lights were valued at $200, police said.
